Short Bio: The 16-year-old Hiwatari Keisuke is the only son of Hiwatari Kyosuke, a world-renowned surgeon. They own a hospital in Tokyo and in America. Keisuke's mother, Genevieve Cleau, is a Frenchwoman and an actress.
He studied in America all his life and was rather having second thoughts on going back to Japan. He never liked the Japanese lifestyle, saying that it never suites him, seeing that the Japanese are more conservative types, rather than the liberal Americans.
He met Aya through an omiai set up by Aya's parents when they were still 7 years old. Since then, the both of them clicked together. He went to school where Aya is schooling. He would also go to places where Aya frequently goes just to see her. They are rarely seen without the each other's company and their classmates used to call them 'The Duo'.
The others also dubbed Keisuke as Aya's knight in shining armor, for he's always pulling the girl out from sticky situations and always saving her whenever she's in trouble. Their classmates thought that they're involved romantically and Keisuke said that he is Aya's fiancee [much to Aya's chagrin] and the latter denied it.
He turned down Aya's request at first, but when he saw the infamous Karino Aya pout, he relented, but he said that they'll only keep up the act until Aya reaches the age of 17.
Personality: Eventhough he and Takishima are sharing their first name, Keisuke is nothing like Takishima. He is the yin to Aya's yang.
He's very outgoing and friendly. And can charm any girl he wants. He's a total flirt and is seen flirting with different girls everyday, only to be hit by Akira [Akira: My poor Aya! Keisuke is going to pay!] when she sees him like that.
He kinda looks like Takishima too and is often mistaken as Takishima's younger brother and it irks him and he would constantly say, "I am more macho than that Takishima Kei."
He can be a sadistic person too, especially when Aya's in trouble. He once broke the arm of a guy who insulted Aya. But all the time, he can always be seen with a smile on his face.
