Aya is a 1st year student in Hyotei Gakuen. Extremely cocky and confident, Aya thinks she can beat anyone, but when she entered Hyotei, Atobe defeated her and she learned how to respect her senpai’s (senior).
Aya came from Germany after 2 years of staying there. She won the German Cup in her age division.
A devoted feminist, Aya vowed to defeat players who look down on her just because she is a girl, thus making her catchphrase, “Don’t take me lightly”. Having coming from Germany, Aya knows how to speak German and English and says her quote in English.
Her teammates often call her koushakufujin—meaning duchess. This word isn’t degrading, they only calls her that because she’s the only girl in the team.
PLAYING STYLE:
Aya has a unique ability where she can copy the techniques of her opponents when she sees it. She can pull any technique completely and even the play style of her adversaries and earning the title, “Technique Specialist of Hyotei”. She's also an ambidextrous and can pull off any technique perfectly in her left hand as if she's using her dominant hand.
