“ATOBE!!!!!!” isang matinis na boses ang biglang kumuha sa atensyon ng mga nagprapraktis sa mga tennis court sa Hyoutei Gakuen. Napalingon ang mga manlalaro habang may isang bababeng tumatakbo papalapit sa kanila. “ATOBE! ATOBE! ATOBE! ATOBE!” paulit-ulit na sigaw nito. “ATOBEEEEEE!!!!!!!”
“Hay. Eto nanaman tayo. Nandito nanaman siya.” Sabi ni Shishido habang nakikita niyang papalapit na ang taong pahirap sa buhay nila. Eto naman kasing si Atobe, kunsintidor din.
Lumapit sa kanya si Oshitari habang pailing-iling. “Wala naman tayong magagawa, pinsan ni Atobe eh. Siyempre lahat ng gugustuhin, susundin.”

Pero hindi na alintana ng ibang kasapi ng Hyoutei Gakuen Boy’s Tennis Club ang dumating na freshman. Sanay na sila. Simula ng nagsimula ang taon, lagi nang pumupunta tuwing practice nila ang nasabing babae. Wala lang. Nag-uutos siya. Pakikuha ako nito, pakigawa naman niyan. Nakakairita lang kasi sagabal sa praktis nila, eh puro wala namang kwenta ang mga utos niya. Ang kaso nga lang, si Atobe, kunukunsinti siya. Pag di nasunod ang utos, may kaakibat na kaparusahan. Ang tingin naman nila, ginagawa lang iyon ng pinsan ni Atobe dahil trip lang niya. Lakas niya mag power trip eh. Minsan nga, nagpabili siya kay Hiyoshi ng isang ice cream na wala sa distrito nila. Naku! Kung pwede lang sigurong makapatay ng tao, matagal nang nagawa iyon ni Hiyoshi. Pusang alaws! Nagpakapagod siya sa wala lang! Pero edukadong tao si Hiyoshi, siyempre tinanong niya kung bakit siya nagpabili ng isang pagkain sa hindi naman nito kakainin. At anak ng pitong tokwa, alam niyo ba kung ano ang sagot ng demonyita? “Wala lang. Trip ko lang. Trip ko lang na makita kang pagod.” sabi niya sabay ngiti. Ay naku! Naku! Naku! Naku! Eto naman si Oshitari, isang taong kalmado rin, yung tipong kahit gulatin mo ng isang milyong beses, ikaw pa ang magugulat niya. Oo, ganoon siya ka kalmado. Pero dahil rin sa angking kapilyahan ng pinsan ni Atobe, aba! Himala! Nakita ng ibang tao kung paano maiirita si Yushi Oshitari! Eh kasi ba naman, nagpagawa ng assignment ang walang magawa sa buhay na pinsan ni Atobe kay Oshitari. Essay. 2000 words. In French. Tungkol sa rebolusyon. Ewan kung bakit French pa ang pinagamit niyang salita [pasalamat na lang si Oshitari at marunong siyang mag French!], trip parin siguro nung slave driver ng Hyoutei. Basta iyon! Edi ginawa naman iyon ni Oshitari. Take note, may time limit. 2 hours. Edi ubos ang oras ni Oshitari, pero okay lang daw sa kanya. Pero alam niyo ba kung ano ang ginawa ng sarap patayin na pinsan ni Atobe?
At ngayon, alamin na natin kung ano ang kailangan ng babaeng mas kyut ng di hamak kaysa ka Sakuno Ryuzaki, pero mas magulo ang takbo ng utak.
“ATOBE! Nilipad yung panyo ko sa itaas ng puno!” sabi ni Megumi Saiga habang nakakapit sa kamay ni Atobe. Hindi mo aakalain na siyang yung mini-demonyita na sinasabi ng mga teammates ni Atobe. May mahaba siyang buhok na kulay ng mga dahon pagtaglagas. Ang buhok niya ay araw-araw nagpapalit ng hairstyle at ngayon ay naka pigtails siya at may mga puting ribbon na nakatali dito. Ang mga asul niyang mata ay kasing asul ng langit. Pero huwag kayong magpapadala sa mukha niya, mukha lang siyang inosente. She’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, mga pipz.
Napangiti si Atobe ng makita niya ang halos mangiyak-ngiyak na mukha ng kanyang pinsan. Oo, masaya siya dahil paiyak na ito. Minsan mo lang kaya makikita ng ganoon si Megumi, haler! “Iyan ba ang problema mo, Megumi?”
Tumango si Megumi at sabay sabing, “Oo. Paki kuha naman para sa akin, Atobe.” At sabay lagay ng kanyang infamous pout na walang nakakahindi sa kanya pag ginamit niya ito.
Napabuntong hininga nalang si Atobe. Sumenyas siya sa mga miyembro ng tennis club na sundan sila ni Megumi nang pumunta na sila sa nasabing puno.

Maraming tao ang nakapaligid sa nasabing puno pagdating nila Megumi at Atobe [kasama narin ang team ni Atobe]. Nakakapagtaka. Lahat si may hawak na mga camera.
“Ayun! Ayun, o!” sabi ni Megumi habang tinuro niya yung panyo niyang puti na nakasabit sa pinakaitaas ng puno.
Stop! Kung iniisip niyo na akyatin na lang nila yung puno, diyan kayo nagkakamali, mag pipolz! Kasi, mataas yung puno. As in super, duper, mega, over, to the max na mataas yung puno. Oo, itinanim kasi yun nung bago pa lang ang skul nila, at huwag niyo nang tanungin kung ilang taon na yung skul nila kasi hindi ako manghuhula. Anyweiz, back to the story tayo, mga tsong.
“Mukahi.” simula ni Atobe habang nakatingin parin sa nasabing panyo. “Mag Moon Salute ka para makuha mo yung panyo.”
“HUWAG! AYOKO! AYOKO! AYOKO!” biglang sumigaw si Megumi pagkatapos sabihin iyon ni Atobe. “Ayokong si Mukahing pandak ang kukuha nun! Gusto ko ikaw, Atobe!” sabay turo kay Atobe.
“Ako?” tanong ni Atobe tapos itinuro niya ang sarili. “Bakit ako?”
Nangingilid na ang mga luha sa mata ni Megumi. “B-bakit a-ayaw mo? H-hindi ba m-mag pinsan t-tayo?” sabi niya habang nanginginig ang boses niya.
Napabuntong hininga nalang uli si Atobe at sinabi niya, “Oo. Ako na ang kukuha niyan.” Kinuha niya ang kanyang tennis racket at isang bola. Dumistansya siya sa puno at biglang nag-serve. Ang kanyang Tanhauser Serve. Kaso sablay, di umabot eh. Ilang beses pa niyang inulit iyon kaso wa-epek parin.
Walang nagawa ang mga teammates ni Atobe kundi manood na lang. Siyempre, sinabi ni Megumi eh. Si Atobe lang ang kukuha kaya walang pwedeng umistorbo sa kanya, wala ring pwedeng tumulong.
“Atobe!” panimula ni Megumi. Nampucha, sugar-coated yung boses, ibig sabihin may
At eto namang si pinsan, uto-uto. Palibhasa, alang kapatid na babae, ayun, sumunod. Haiz. Mga pipz, bear with me.
Sige, game na umakyat sa puno si Atobe.
“Ayos ka lang ba, Atobe?” tanong ni Megumi sa nakasandal sa puno na si Atobe.
Ngumisi si Megumi at hinablot ang panyo sa kamay ni Atobe. Lumingon siya sa mga taong nanonood sa kanila at sinabing, “Panalo ako. Amina 250,000¥ ko. Hindi marunong umakyat ng puno si Atobe.” Natawa siya pagkatapos nito at umalis kasama ang mga spectators nila. Naiwan lang si Atobe at ang kanyang mga teammates.
“I hate that kid.” It was Atobe.

Bio: Megumi Saiga is one of the youngest vampire hunter in history. [Err, yeah…] She wasn’t supposed to be a vampire hunter, she never dreamed to be a hunter. She just wanted to live an ordinary life, but something happened to her 10 years ago that made her decision to become a vampire hunter.
Her family was killed by a vampire, every one of them. Her mother, father and younger brother. They were just having a quiet dinner inside their house when the vampire went inside and began attacking her father. There was blood everywhere. She wanted to scream but no sound would come out from her and she was rooted on the spot. But when she saw the gleaming red eyes of the vampire, she woke up from her stupor and fled. While she was running away, she met someone. It was a guy, a few years older than her father. That person saved her from the vampire that was chasing her and he took her in. The unknown guy was supposed to drop Megumi off in the nearest orphanage but Megumi asked him something that might’ve changed his mind. “Can you teach me how to kill vampires?” And since then, the person took care of Megumi and taught her how to kill vampires.
Megumi has a pathological fear of bloods. Whenever she would see a person covered in blood, she would be rooted on that spot, shivering. But that didn’t stop her to become a vampire hunter. She trained very hard so she can be a vampire hunter and someday she would avenge her family.
She’s now a full-pledged vampire hunter and was sent to Cross Academy to eliminate the Level E’s scattering around the school. Her weapons are a gun which is hidden inside her jacket and daggers which are placed in a holster around her thigh. She also has a spare gun [normal type of gun] hidden on a holster in her waist. She usually uses her daggers first before she grabs her gun. Her daggers are the ordinary type and can never hurt vampires but the gun she possesses, is the type of gun which can kill vampires.
Personality: When Megumi was still a 7-year-old kid, she could be the most energetic kid you ever met. Always smiling and laughing, you would think that nobody can dampen her day. But ever since that incident, her entire personality changed.
She lost all of her innocence, all of her laughter. The only thing left is the aggressive side of her. Whenever she would see a vampire, she goes completely berserk, wanting to attack that certain vampire. The only person that could control her is her partner. But since she is sent on that mission alone, she is ordered to control her temper. She also rarely thinks before she acts. She’s very independent on her intuition and acts based on her guts, rather than logic.
But set aside that hostile personality, Megumi is a sweet kid. She wears her heart on her sleeve and people can easily know how she feels. She can be very childish at times when things don’t go her way. She could also get easily flustered when someone flatters or compliments her.
Sample Post: “Ah, Megumi-chan, are you sure you’ll be okay?” a brunette girl who’s hair in a Chinese buns asked Megumi. She tapped the pen she was holding on the table while her partner, Megumi, continued to stuff her clothes inside a suitcase. “Ne, Meg-chan, are you listening to me?”
The girl named Megumi didn’t even bother to respond, she didn’t even looked at her, instead, she just continued to pack her stuff. The brunette in Chinese buns pouted, she stomped her foot and began whining. “Megumi-chan!” Megumi’s head jerked up, glaring at the girl, “What, Xiao-chan?” she snapped. Xiao Qiao stuck out her tongue at Megumi before saying, “Meanie. I’m just asking you if you’re going to be fine at Cross Academy.” Megumi smiled at her partner and leaned over her, ruffling Xiao’s hair. “Don’t worry… I’ll be fine.”

Short Bio: The 16-year-old Hiwatari Keisuke is the only son of Hiwatari Kyosuke, a world-renowned surgeon. They own a hospital in Tokyo and in America. Keisuke's mother, Genevieve Cleau, is a Frenchwoman and an actress.
He studied in America all his life and was rather having second thoughts on going back to Japan. He never liked the Japanese lifestyle, saying that it never suites him, seeing that the Japanese are more conservative types, rather than the liberal Americans.
He met Aya through an omiai set up by Aya's parents when they were still 7 years old. Since then, the both of them clicked together. He went to school where Aya is schooling. He would also go to places where Aya frequently goes just to see her. They are rarely seen without the each other's company and their classmates used to call them 'The Duo'.
The others also dubbed Keisuke as Aya's knight in shining armor, for he's always pulling the girl out from sticky situations and always saving her whenever she's in trouble. Their classmates thought that they're involved romantically and Keisuke said that he is Aya's fiancee [much to Aya's chagrin] and the latter denied it.
He turned down Aya's request at first, but when he saw the infamous Karino Aya pout, he relented, but he said that they'll only keep up the act until Aya reaches the age of 17.
Personality: Eventhough he and Takishima are sharing their first name, Keisuke is nothing like Takishima. He is the yin to Aya's yang.
He's very outgoing and friendly. And can charm any girl he wants. He's a total flirt and is seen flirting with different girls everyday, only to be hit by Akira [Akira: My poor Aya! Keisuke is going to pay!] when she sees him like that.
He kinda looks like Takishima too and is often mistaken as Takishima's younger brother and it irks him and he would constantly say, "I am more macho than that Takishima Kei."
He can be a sadistic person too, especially when Aya's in trouble. He once broke the arm of a guy who insulted Aya. But all the time, he can always be seen with a smile on his face.

Short Bio : Karino Tadashi's younger sister. After they graduated, she became a freshman at Hakusenkan and became the school Rank #1 after taking the entrance exam. And since she's 16 and their mother is expecting that every Karino has a boyfriend/girlfriend when they reached that age, she had her best friend, Keisuke Hiwatari to act as her boyfriend.
She is supposed to be attending Kokusekan, but since her mother is the school chairman of Hakusenkan, she is forced to attend Hakusenkan too. Her mother threatened her too that if she got the rank below 5th, she'll be severely punished, but just laughs that off, saying that her mother wouldn't do that to her. Obviously, she hasn't been punished by her mother since she always achieves the top spot without her trying too hard, and that caused the rift between her and her classmates in her previous schools.
She studied in America since she was in pre-school and that's why she doesn't want to go back to Japan on the first place, saying that she's not used on Japanese life. Though she's not staying on Japan, she loves Japanese food. She would order sushi, tempura and other common japanese foods as her lunch or dinner. She would ask their cook to make a bento for her lunch.
Aya loves to drink tea and is often in Akira's house for afternoon tea. She makes a decent tea herself, but prefers to drink Akira's tea concoctions. Her favorite teas are Earl Grey from England and the musky Assam tea from India.
Before going back to Japan, her mother had forced her to attend an omiai [marriage interview] for she had sensed that Aya and Keisuke are only putting up an act, but the omiai went from worse to worst. The guy she met, Satoshi Takeyanagi, was beat up by Keisuke [and Tadashi, though he never confessed] for making a vulgar comment about Aya and the way she dressed that night. Aya's mother punished Keisuke for his insolent act and had threatened him that if he gets on the way of Aya's matchmaking session, he would pay severely.
Personality: Aya is a charismatic young girl and can bend anyone into her capricious whims [thus resulting Keisuke to be her "boyfriend"]. She can charm anyone with her smile and her pout.
She could be cheerful at times, but Aya is painfully shy. She would never talk to anyone [aside from Keisuke, Akira and Tadashi] unless she needs to. She's also very sensitive and can't take harsh criticisms. Not only that, Aya's the clingy type and she's rarely seen without Keisuke on her side.
Aya tries to shield herself away from the negative side of the world and she wouldn't take a second glance on the things that would take away her positive outlook in life.

I hate myself, especially when I'm doing a multi-chaptered fics...
Yeah...
Whenever I get the inspiration for making a multi-chaptered fics, I would write it down immediately and I would do a lot of research about the anime I'm writing.
But after 1 or two chapters, the flame would die down and I would be disinterested on the fic. I dunno why, but that ALWAYS happens to me.
And that's why I would resort to writing oneshots, because that's way better for me, rather than writing multi-chaptered fics.
Try to keep the width of your tagbox
at about 440px for near-perfection :)
